Hey there, My name is Valeria and I'm a 22-year-old graphic designer & owner of Designvul & I'm thrilled to share the story behind Designvul with you.
It all started back in 2006 when I was just a wide-eyed 5-year-old. My parents surprised me with a computer, and little did they know, that was the spark that would ignite my passion for design.

Even though I was just a kid, I fell in love with drawing, even if I wasn't exactly a prodigy. I began my creative journey in Paintshop and Photo Filter, those clunky, old programs that were more frustrating than anything else (sorry, Paintshop). But I was determined to make something beautiful.
As the years went by, I started experimenting with templated websites and created some less-than-stellar designs (though I thought they were top-notch at the time). I even practiced on another website template that eventually closed down.
By the time I hit 13, I was designing for forums, and after sharing a few of my creations, I was offered a role as a forum manager. But, like many artists, I doubted my skills. During this period, I taught myself the ropes of making basic logos, gifs, and photo editing using Adobe Photoshop, and so much more.
High school arrived, and I nearly abandoned design, except for a few free projects and school assignments, including one on the Holocaust. Then, a few more years rolled on, and right before joining the army, I mustered the courage to showcase my portfolio for a graphic designer position.
I was anxious and uncertain, but to my surprise, they welcomed me with open arms. For two years, I got into the world of graphic design while serving my country.
I learned Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Animate, ventured into 3D design with Blender, and even dabbled in Indesign and Adobe XD.

After my time in the army, I set out to find work in the graphic design field, but it wasn't as successful as I'd hoped. I strived for creative freedom and the chance to define my style without constraints. And so, in January 2022, I made a bold decision: I would start my own business.
Now, here we are, with DesignVul, a place where my creative journey comes full circle. I'm here to bring your visions to life, and to make your ideas pop with color and design.
Thank you for being part of this incredible journey, and I can't wait to see what we create together. 💕
